God's Stretching

Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sister, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.   James 1:2-4

Do you find yourself thinking what in the world is going on right now? Or maybe the question is what isn’t going on right now?

During this time of upheaval, we are all going through something unique. As I talk with different individuals and hear different stories of what is happening in their lives, whether it be with loved ones, or their own personal trails, I realize we are each facing a trial or an experience that has been specifically designed for us individually.

I believe this time is intended to help each of us grow individually in some area. That is why it looks so different for each of us. God is growing each of us, stretching us and causing us to lean more on Him. This is a time of opportunity for us to grow and mature in our personal relationship with Him. He is calling us to seek Him first where in the past we might have sought another source, a friend, family member or pastor.
We can encourage one other from a distance, but ultimately it is our walk with God that is being developed. This is a time of growth and to step in the new blessing that God has for us. He is increasing our faith!

Be blessed to seek the face of your Heavenly Father today knowing He has placed you in this and every situation. Nothing is a surprise for Him. He has designed you as a unique individual and He is growing you every day to become who He created you to be.
