Greater things! ~2018
Great things happen when women come together in love and set aside the concerns of our everyday lives in order to spend time with God.
Revive and Restore Ministries presented an intimate time of seeking God for more of him and for the greater things we believe he is releasing in this time. We gathered on Thursday through Saturday, November 8th to the 10th, in beautiful Brown County at Salt Creek Golf Retreat.
After being encouraged in different ways we hear God, the ladies entered into our time together by experiencing a night of silence. Friday was a full day of focusing on the names of God and asking God what he wanted us to know about Jesus, the Father and the Holy Spirit. We heard there were as many pathways to experiencing God as there are seekers. We were challenged to release the things that were blocking us from receiving the greater gifts God wants for us.
On Saturday, the emphasis was on hearing how God wanted us to respond. We agreed that unity was important to achieve what God was calling us to be and do, and we committed to work to accomplish that unity in our families, churches and workplaces.
Times of listening and prayer were available throughout, and when we parted ways on Saturday, all agreed that we were leaving feeling loved and lighter, and had experienced God in a deeper, greater way. God is so good! All praise and glory be to him!
